We're looking for a Consultant to join our growing Talent Advisory practice based in London. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced reward or people advisory professional looking to take on greater responsibility, work directly with clients, and contribute to the delivery of high-impact consulting projects across the UK and EMEA. This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our London office. The Talent Advisory Team The Talent Advisory team is part of the wider Talent Solutions practice. We partner with our clients and support them in developing new talent and reward approaches tailored to their particular business, operating model and culture. We work with clients on a wide range of topics, and the diversity of our support is a key feature of the work in our team. Our main service areas focus on total reward strategy, employee value proposition (EVP) design, future skills, organisation and workforce transformation, HR M&A, culture alignment, job architecture and levelling, and the design of reward programmes including base pay, annual incentives, sales incentives and performance management frameworks We provide invaluable advice to companies during some of the most exciting and crucial moments in their growth and evolution – including carve-outs, transformation programmes and M&A scenarios, where we help create, align and integrate talent and reward processes in a way that supports the aspirations of the business. What the day will look like As a Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering complex reward and people advisory projects, managing workstreams independently, building trusted client relationships, and contributing to the growth of the practice. Your responsibilities will include: Understanding client business challenges and helping shape practical talent and reward solutions aligned to business strategy. Analysing and interpreting market trends, compensation data and workforce insights to develop evidence-based recommendations for clients. Leading project workstreams independently, producing high-quality client-ready deliverables with limited oversight. Building and managing client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor throughout project delivery. Facilitating client meetings and presentations, communicating complex concepts clearly to a range of stakeholders, including senior leaders. Managing day-to-day project delivery, coordinating activities across multiple stakeholders and ensuring projects remain on track. Contributing to proposal development, thought leadership and broader business development activities. The incumbent would also be asked to lead sales conversations. Coaching and supporting junior team members, sharing technical expertise and best practices. Staying up to date with developments in reward, pay transparency, job architecture, AI in workforces, strategic workforce planning and wider people strategy trends, identifying opportunities for innovation and growth. Ensuring work is delivered to a high standard, within agreed timelines and budgets. While this role is UK-based, you will be part of a wider EMEA Advisory Team and will have opportunities to collaborate with colleagues across regions on a diverse range of client projects. Skills and experience that will lead to success To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: 4–5 years of experience within reward consulting, management consulting, HR consulting, or an in-house HR, Rewards, People Analytics function. Demonstrable experience supporting the design and implementation of reward, compensation, job architecture, pay transparency, workforce strategy or broader talent-related initiatives. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with advanced Excel capabilities and experience working with complex datasets. Understanding and usage of AI models and LLMs would be an advantage. Experience developing client-ready reports, presentations and recommendations for a range of stakeholders, including senior leaders. Strong project management skills, with experience managing multiple workstreams and competing priorities. Proven ability to build effective client relationships and confidently engage with stakeholders. Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely. Experience working within a consulting environment and contributing to business development activities would be advantageous.
