The Opportunity
Join our Accounts Receivable team and play a key role in ensuring accurate billing, efficient cash management and exceptional service delivery. As a Senior Accounts Clerk, you’ll support invoice and credit note reviews, maintain compliance with VAT and tax requirements, and help drive timely collection of outstanding balances. You’ll also contribute to cash allocation activities and continuous improvements across our AR processes.
You will utilise your existing Accounts Receiveable expertise in the following areas of work:
- Support the onboarding and training of new team members within the Accounts Receivable team.
- Work closely with the Accounts Receivable Deputy to provide tailored credit control support and guidance to team members.
- Collaborate with the Cash Team Supervisor to provide specialist support on cash allocation and related processes.
- Continuously review departmental processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and streamline workflows.
- Maintain alignment with Manilla SSC on standardisation of processes and ways of operating.
- Work with the Data and Reporting team to produce key metrics and reporting to support the Accounts Receivable Manager.
- Provide support in the setup of Arup projects, ensuring all internal guidelines and requirements are followed.
- Investigate and resolve complex customer account queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Investigate and resolve complex system-related issues impacting Accounts Receivable processes.
- Contribute to weekly reporting activities, identifying and resolving errors or escalating issues where necessary.
Is this role right for you?
We seek experienced Accounts Receivable professionals with the following skills and expertise:
- Strong experience in credit control and Accounts Receivable within a large organisation.
- Shared Service Centre experience (advantageous).
- Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused approach.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise effectively, and build positive relationships.
- Experience with JDE (beneficial) and confidence working in a large team environment.
- High attention to detail, commitment to continuous improvement and flexibility to support operational needs.
