The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Coordinator to support our Transport and EWR portfolios in Edinburgh. This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth day‑to‑day running of the team, providing high‑quality coordination and administrative support across both project and operational activity.
You will work closely with technical, project and business services colleagues, helping to keep people connected, projects organised and processes running efficiently. The role combines coordination, communication, reporting and people‑focused support, offering variety and the opportunity to build strong relationships across the business.
Key aspects of the role include preparing clear, well‑presented documents and presentations in line with the Arup brand, supporting work‑winning activity, coordinating meetings and events, supporting onboarding and people processes, and producing basic financial and operational reports. You will also use a range of Arup systems and play an active role in promoting best practice within Business Operations.

We are keen to hear from organised, proactive individuals who enjoy supporting teams and improving how things work. You are likely to bring:
Proven coordination or administrative experience, ideally within a professional services or project‑based environment
Strong written communication skills, with experience producing clear, accurate documents, emails and meeting notes
Excellent organisation and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines
A high level of attention to detail, with pride in producing well‑formatted, accurate outputs

Confidence using Microsoft Office (particularly Outlook and Excel), with the ability to learn new systems and tools
