Our Specialist team of 25 Architects based in central London are part of Arup’s global studio of Architects and are focused on delivering elegant, purposeful and resilient solutions for today's complex Technology market place . Our team enjoys unparalleled access to Arup’s world-class specialists together with cutting edge hardware and software which together allow us to take on the most challenging projects for our clients.

The opportunity

We are looking for passionate, talented designers who are ambitious and curious with excellent personal, written and graphic communication skills.

You will:

• Lead project teams working in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment;
• Be responsible for the successful delivery of projects under the supervision of the Project Director;
• Participate in new business development activities;
• Lead design development, review & presentation using drawings, physical & virtual models;
• Collaborate with other disciplines to produce fully coordinated project information including BIM models, drawings, schedules and specifications and participate in site based activities within our global marketplace.

• Architect (UK / overseas qualified) with a minimum of five years post part three experience of the design and delivery of complex, highly technical projects working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Experience of all stages of the design process from feasibility to handover, particular recent design and construction experience in technically complex facilities is desirable.
• Experience in client facing activities including business development.
• Experience of working in a BIM environment is required.
• Excellent team-working skills are essential – our approach is collaborative and all team members are encouraged to contribute at every stage.
• Fluency in spoken and written English and strong graphic communication skills are all essential.
