Introduction to role:

Are you ready to fuel your ambition and break new ground? We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced individual to join and support the Global CVRM Laroprovstat and Weight Management teams. This is your chance to take on a challenging, proactive, and varied role within our team. You'll be supporting two Commercial VPs: VP, Laroprovstat and VP, Weight Management, as well as their teams across strategic locations in the US and UK. Accountabilities:

In this dynamic role, you'll manage extensive diaries, coordinate internal and external meetings, arrange virtual meetings and videoconferences, and handle complex travel arrangements including visas. You'll organize and prepare materials for key meetings, attend team and project meetings, support agenda preparation, take minutes, and track actions. You'll collaborate with managers on budgets, run monthly reports, track T&E, process expenses, and raise purchase orders. As an expert user of business systems like MS Teams, Coupa, Concur, Box, and SharePoint, you'll be a professional point of contact for the department. With strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, you'll engage confidently across all levels of our organization, building networks and supporting colleagues. Your influencing skills will help develop solutions and drive efficiencies. Working independently, you'll adapt to changing demands with flexibility.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Entrepreneurial problem-solver

  • Strong written and communication skills and the ability to interact confidently with executives/employees

  • Experience and comfort with AI productivity tools (e.g. copilot, AZChatGPT, Notebook LLM…)

  • Should be able to work autonomously, and at the same time, collaborate effectively with other members of the administrative support team

  • Flexible to adapt to ever-changing needs and deadlines

  • Ability to effectively multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality and discretion

  • Ability to demonstrate tact, persuasion and/or negotiation and maintain confidentiality

  • Strong time-management skills

  • Experience working in a fast-paced global environment

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • Extensive experience in a similar role

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Experience supporting C-Suite or senior leaders within the pharmaceutical industry

  • Strong IT skills and previous use of MS Teams, Coupa, Concur, BOX/SPOL

  • Efficient in supporting staff with software updates

  • Previous Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Healthcare or AstraZeneca experience strongly preferred
