Job Title: Paralegal
Location: Scotstoun, 2-3 days per week onsite.

Salary: Up to £41,000 dependent on skills and experience

Job description:
We design and manufacture a diverse range of naval ships and advanced combat systems that support complex global maritime operations. Our work spans offshore patrol vessels to the latest City Class Type 26 frigates for the UK Royal Navy, as well as major international programmes including the Australian Hunter Class and Canadian River‑Class Destroyer. Joining us means contributing to high‑impact, innovative projects within a collaborative environment. You’ll work in modern offices located alongside the production of these cutting‑edge platforms, giving you a direct connection to the engineering and technology you help bring to life.
Core duties:
- You will be drafting, reviewing and revising a wide range of contracts while supporting negotiations under solicitor supervision
- You will have responsibility for data protection tasks, including preparing responses to data subject access requests
- Ensure you implement and maintain internal compliance policies and procedures
- You will be developing and updating contract templates, guidance materials and related documentation
- Conducting legal research and communicating clear, concise findings to the Legal team and stakeholders
Essential Skills:
- You will hold an English or Scottish legal qualification, such as a Law Degree, GDL or CILEX
- Paralegal or commercial contracting experience which demonstrates sound knowledge of contract law and compliance with policies and procedures
- Experience of data protection matters including dealing with data subject access requests is preferable
- Experience of the defence or multi-faceted regulated environments is advantageous
