JOB BAND: Trustee
TIME COMMITMENT: 20 days per annum for the Pension Trustee role, and an additional 30 days for the Chair role

COMPENSATION: £45,000 per annum for the Pension Trustee role, and an additional £48,000 per annum for the Chair role

ROLE OVERVIEW

The BBC Pension Scheme is seeking to appoint an Independent Trustee Director and Chair of the Board. This is due to the retirement on 30 May 2027 of an Independent Trustee Director who also holds the Chair role.

This is a key appointment for the BBC Pension Scheme, in the context of the Scheme’s increasing maturity, high-profile public interest and evolving covenant, and the need and opportunity to adjust strategy as funding improves.
