What You'll Do

Please note that this is a full-time temporary position (maternity leave cover), open to both fixed-term contracts and internal secondments.

As a dynamic and motivated EMESA Talent Specialist, you will join the Career Development Team to support and coordinate career development activities for our MDPs across EMESA. Working closely with senior team members, you will help ensure the smooth, structured, and high-quality execution of core career development processes.
This role offers strong exposure to talent processes across the region and requires a highly organized, detail-oriented individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

You will support the delivery of MDP career development processes and provide operational and analytical coordination across the EMESA region. Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the preparation and coordination of Career Development (CD) meetings, including document preparation and follow-up tracking
  • Assisting with analysis of ODCs, performance data, and pyramid metrics to support CD meetings
  • Supporting the OPT team on the EMESA MDP election process (e.g., data collection, analysis, and related coordination activities
  • Preparing presentations, reports, and summary materials for stakeholders
  • Coordinating and analyzing regular surveys (e.g., ODC surveys, MDP 360 feedback) and supporting result consolidation
  • Maintaining and ensuring data accuracy across relevant talent systems and tools (e.g., MDPartnerView, PPS)
  • Tracking development actions and ensuring timely follow-up with relevant stakeholders
  • Acting as a key coordination interface with the MDP L&D team to ensure development needs are captured and supported
  • Contributing to continuous improvement of career development processes and tools
  • Analysis of respective ODCs, pyramid and performance, preparing documents and presentations

  • Strong project coordination skills; highly organized with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills, including solid Excel capabilities and comfort working with data and similar tools

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating clarity, tact, and professionalism in writing, speaking, and presenting information

  • Highly flexible, reliable, and motivated, maintaining a calm and solution-oriented approach in challenging situations

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS)

  • You have successfully completed a university or college degree.
  • You have at least 2-3 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in human resources
  • You are proficient in MS Office software with extensive knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel
  • Knowledge of digital tools e.g. Tableau & Alteryx highly desirable
  • You have excellent written and spoken English language skills; additional languages such as French, Spanish & German would be an advantage
  • An independent working style, strong motivation and commitment
  • You have a solid understanding of BCG’s organization, structures, and organizational processes in several systems and geographies.

The current team is based across several EMESA offices, and you will work directly with team members based in London, Paris, Dusseldorf & Munich.
