Job Description

Our purpose is to bring together people, energy and markets to power and navigate a changing world. In a time of constant change and possibility we need new talent to pursue commercial opportunities, fuelled by premier insight and expertise. We’re always striving for more innovative digital solutions, sustainable outcomes and closer collaboration across our company and beyond, and you could be part of that too.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Planning & Integration Advisor to join the NOJV Solutions team on a 6 months parental cover assignment. This role is a critical contributor to how bp generates high‑quality insights across our global Non‑Operated Joint Ventures (NOJVs) portfolio — over 330 ventures across 45+ countries. You’ll support a broad range of workstreams across NOJV Solutions by translating data, best practices, and insights into meaningful outputs that enable performance improvement and strategic alignment. As part of a small and agile team, the role requires someone who is comfortable investigating, engaging, and collecting information independently, with minimal supervision.

The Planning & Integration Advisor reports to the Commercial and Integration Manager and supports the entire NOJV Solutions team in delivering its strategy.

Key Accountabilities:

Integration & Performance Management

  • Support performance management across NOJV Solutions through digital tools and reporting guidelines.

  • Manage backlog visibility, prioritisation, and tracking in Azure DevOps (ADO).

  • Support performance contract reporting and action tracking.

Risk Data & Information Management

  • Administer the NOJV Risk Management database, including user setup, access rights, and tailored reporting.

  • Oversee updates to the NOJV Barometer.

Digital Development & Support

  • Maintain and improve digital products such as the EVP Dashboard and NOJV World Map.

  • Provide Power BI development and analytics support, including materiality matrices and other tools.

Data Management

  • Lead end‑to‑end data management across domains including HSE, risk, commercial, sustainability, and finance.

  • Enhance NOJV Solutions’ digital products and insight reporting.

Financial Analysis

  • Extract and interpret financial data for Tier 1 NOJVs.

  • Identify value‑enhancing opportunities and support cost‑recovery initiatives.

Knowledge & Document Management

  • Manage the JV agreements repository (DICAL) and NOJV SharePoint site, ensuring information is current and accessible.

Benchmarking & External Insights

  • Collect and synthesise external benchmarks to inform continuous improvement.

Portfolio Insights & Leadership Support

  • Monitor portfolio performance, generate insights, and provide intervention recommendations to leadership.

Collaboration & Community Engagement

  • Coordinate the Asset Managers Community of Practice (CoP).

  • Support the development and facilitation of workshops and engagement sessions across the NOJV community.

Essential Experience and Job Requirements:

  • Experience in commercial, finance, or related fields, with strong planning and reporting capabilities.

  • Strong data management and analytics skills (Power BI, Power Apps, ADO).

  • Effective communication skills and the ability to convey messages clearly to diverse stakeholders.

  • Ability to connect workstreams to broader organisational strategy.

  • Structured, analytical problem solver able to distil complex information into actionable insights.

  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting to different NOJV contexts.

  • Strong relationship‑builder who collaborates effectively and embodies bp’s “Who we are” values.
