Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience as a product manager or video game producer managing a portfolio for a games publisher, fund or platform.
- Experience managing game development with cross-functional teams from concept to live service.
- Experience in the creative process and the financial mechanics of the games industry.
- Experience with AI-powered workflows, including designing and building prototypes with AI.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
- Experience working within a hardware or platform-holder ecosystem.
- Experience managing indie or double-A experimental titles.
- Experience as a developer/designer/artist using modern game engines and developer toolchains.
- Ability to grow in highly ambiguous environments.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical, creative, and legal perspectives.

This collaborative, multidisciplinary group is situated primarily in London and Mountain View with collaborators across the globe. It has a sizable and portfolio of early stage, design focused projects, with a focus on breakthrough experiences that would not be possible without AI.
As a Product Manager, you will have knowledge of gaming and interactive experiences to expand and strengthen our partnerships and collaborations with game developers and platforms, both internal and external.
In this role, your mission is to architect and manage high-impact partnerships and facilitate the creation of gaming experiences that would not be possible without AI. You will bring these to life by connecting DeepMind AI-research with gaming use-cases, building cross-functional, cross-organization collaborations in the pursuit of fun. Operating with a user-centric mindset, you will identify partners, structure agreements, and manage experimental projects through early-stage products. You will ensure that our collaborations go beyond technical demos, to build breakthrough experiences that connect with real player communities.Artificial intelligence will be one humanity’s most transformative inventions. Responsibilities
- Identify external development groups capable of building AI-native gameplay and partner with business development teams to forge new partnerships that serve research and commercial needs.
- Influence strategy by offering timely context, insights and guidance without the need for direct control.
- Enhance an experience that resonates for players by collaborating with researchers, designers and engineers, setting clear development milestones, and tracking creative health of the project.
- Set requirements for fine-tuning and evaluation frameworks to optimize for player experiences.
- Design and monitor community feedback loops to understand player sentiment.
