This is an exciting opportunity to partner with senior leaders who are shaping the future of clinical development through innovative operating models, data-driven decision-making and AI-enabled ways of working. You will play a critical role in helping build the organisation, talent and culture needed to deliver GSK’s ambitious pipeline and accelerate the delivery of medicines and vaccines to patients.
About Development Operations
Development Operations enables the effective planning, execution and continuous improvement of clinical development across GSK’s portfolio. The organisation brings together expertise in clinical operations, study delivery, portfolio execution, operational excellence, data and digital capabilities to ensure clinical trials are delivered efficiently, compliantly and with patients at the centre.
As HR Business Partner, you will work in a highly collaborative and matrixed environment, providing strategic people leadership to support business performance, organisational effectiveness and talent outcomes across a global organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to Development Operations leaders, translating business priorities into impactful people strategies.
- Lead organisational effectiveness and change initiatives that support GSK’s strategic priorities and portfolio ambitions.
- Use workforce, talent and organisational insights to inform decision-making, identify opportunities and challenge thinking.
- Coach senior leaders on organisational design, workforce planning, team effectiveness and people strategy.
- Drive talent reviews, succession planning and capability development to ensure future workforce readiness.
- Build leadership capability through coaching, feedback and strategic partnership.
- Partner with Talent and Capability teams to attract, retain and develop diverse talent and critical capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies and proactively manage people-related risks.
- Champion an inclusive, high-performing culture where innovation, engagement and psychological safety thrive.
Basic Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline.
- Significant experience in HR business partnering, HR generalist or HR operations roles.
- Proven experience supporting senior leaders in leadership development, talent management, performance management and employee engagement.
- Demonstrated success delivering large-scale HR programmes and organisational change initiatives.
- Strong analytical capability with experience using data and insights to influence decisions.
- Experience working within complex, global and matrixed organisations.
- Demonstrated ability to influence, coach and challenge senior leaders.
- Experience leading global organisational change and transformation initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology or HR consulting environments.
- Strong learning agility with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments.
- Strong capability in analysing people data and translating insights into action.
- Passion for continuous improvement and delivering measurable business impact.
