Liquidity Project Manager

London / Hybrid

Contract until end of Sept 26

£104,000 per annum

HSBC are looking for a Liquidity IRR (Integrity Regulatory Reporting) Change PM who will play a key role in the delivery of core projects, including management of requirements and delivery timeline, and oversight of implementation. The role holder will be supported by the Project Management Office to provide effective programme management under the defined Change Framework.

Liquidity Project Manager is expected to:

• Support Domain Lead and Snr Domain Manager to lead Project management activities for the allocated change project, including reporting to liquidity and IRR stakeholders
• Proactively manage end to end plan for functional and Data control requirements delivery
• Have experience in Liquidity Reporting and specifically Liquidity Change Delivery across Operating Model, Data and Functional Enhancements
• Define project milestones, identify key risk to the project delivery and work with stakeholders to identify solutions/mitigation plans
• Setting standards and approach for the governance and reporting of projects; define and implement the associated Project Management processes, tools and methodologies, in alignment with Change Framework and to an auditable standard.
• Manage tracking and analysis of management information providing assurance on compliance for programmes in the Liquidity Change portfolio.

• The role holder will provide stakeholders with consistent management information to support decision making at the portfolio level.
• The role holder will engage with a wide spectrum of stakeholders. A key element of this role is to manage these senior relationships in Finance and IT.
• The role holder will lead, influence, motivate and guide stakeholders, and members of the Programme in driving and explaining what good looks like and how this can be achieved.

The role holder will work in alignment with CHANGE FRAMEWORK and Change Delivery standards

Experience / Qualifications:

• Graduate level education eg a Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, related field or equivalent experience (essential)
• Relevant Project/Programme management professional qualification
• Proven PM experience in a large programme and Liquidity change processes
• HSBC experience preferred
• Strong experience of using Clarity, SharePoint (desirable but not essential)
• Strong knowledge and proven delivery in line with Change Framework standards
• Proven flexibility and leadership track record in dynamic environments, with the ability to support & direct teams with diverse backgrounds and skill sets, both locally and offshore and to maintain a global perspective.
• Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills
• Strong leadership, management, decision-making, and interpersonal skills including the ability to listen to and influence stakeholders at all levels, and to build consensus among a wide range of internal and external customers with conflicting priorities
• Proven ability to provide expert leadership to continuously improve PM practice
