We’re currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Investment Business Analyst
You’ll primarily be responsible for maintaining the continuity of research services and investment data, supporting Portfolio Managers and Analysts in both operational and strategic activities. You’ll also assist in facilitating the CIO office’s priorities across all global AM Investment entities.

In This Role You’ll
- Support research services across the Investments business ensuring that the business receives cost and service value against the delivered service
- Liaise with internal stakeholders (portfolio managers, research analysts, operations) to ensure research solutions meet evolving business requirements
- Reconcile and report variable spend through detailed analysis to ensure costs and budgets are in line with expectations.
- Act as the Third Party Engagement Manager and assist with vendor relationship management including contract negotiation and technical due diligence
- Coordinate with cross-functional CIO stakeholders to gather relevant information in order to produce accurate presentation slide decks for Management Committee (ManCo) meetings
- Be knowledgeable about the Buy/Sell elements of Investment Banking and its products
- Have a strong commercial analysis capability and able to work with financial data related to spend and consumption versus costs and budgets
- Good level of communication to be able to work with various sources of information to produce easily digestible reports and presentations
- Possess stakeholder management skills that engender the view of a ‘Trusted Partner’ across a varied audience
- Demonstrate really good time management, planning and organisational skills with the ability to managing multiple tasks often with conflicting priorities
- Have a curious mindset that actively seeks to ask questions of established processes and achieve best practice
