- Strong fundamentals in distributed systems design and development
- Good understanding of the Kubernetes ecosystem
- Experience building and operating large-scale systems
- Understanding of core systems operations, including storage, networking, and operating systems
- Self-starter with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficiency in Go, Python, C++, or other statically typed programming languages
- Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience with Golang and Kubernetes CNI technologies
- Hands-on Kubernetes experience
- Relevant cloud infrastructure and cloud networking experience
