Your role and responsibilities

As a Delivery Manager: Digital Product Engineering, you oversee the end-to-end process of delivering digital products, leveraging broad experience in successfully delivering across different types of engagements. You lead the cross-functional collaboration between product, design, and engineering to drive successful product outcomes. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration: Oversee project timelines, resources, and stakeholder communication to ensure that product development meets deadlines and quality standards. This involves facilitating collaboration among teams and clients to deliver successful product outcomes. • Manage Project Timelines: Plan and manage project timelines to ensure timely delivery of digital products, identifying and mitigating risks that may impact project schedules. • Facilitate Team Collaboration: Lead collaboration between product, design, and engineering teams to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the product development process. • Oversee Stakeholder Communication: Ensure that stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle, providing regular updates and progress reports. • Ensure Quality Standards: Verify that product development meets quality standards, identifying and addressing any quality issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.

The Defence Sales Specialist will play a pivotal role in driving growth across IBM’s Defence portfolio. The role combines bid support, sales enablement, and go-to-market (GTM) execution, supporting complex, high-value defence opportunities. Working closely with account teams, technical specialists, and ecosystem partners, the successful candidate will help shape, qualify, and convert strategic defence deals.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Broad Engagement Experience: Experience with successfully delivering across different types of engagements, including varying project sizes, complexities, and technologies. • Digital Product Knowledge: Familiarity with digital product development processes, including Agile methodologies and product development life cycles. • Cross-Functional Understanding: Exposure to collaborating with multiple stakeholders, including product, design, and engineering teams to drive successful product outcomes.
