As a Settlements Analyst you will play a vital role in monitoring and settling equity trades across EMEA and other global markets. You will work closely with middle offices, custodians, and external clients to resolve settlement issues and support business operations. You will help us maintain high standards of control and risk management, while driving efficiency initiatives. Together, we ensure seamless trade settlement and deliver exceptional service to our clients.
Job Responsibilities
- Monitor and settle equity trades across multiple markets
- Escalate and resolve failing trades promptly
- Support securities lending and borrowing activities
- Instruct conversions for physical and ADR transactions
- Manage delivery and cross-depot stock movements
- Process payments accurately and efficiently
- Prepare daily high and credit risk reports
- Resolve cash and stock breaks in collaboration with reconciliation teams
- Liaise with custodians and external clients to address settlement issues
- Provide information and support for trade queries to middle offices
- Drive efficiency initiatives within the team

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Experience with physical issuance and deposit of UK securities in Crest
- Understanding of UK, European, and US markets
- Knowledge of securities settlements processes
- Technical expertise in securities transaction processing
- Familiarity with asset servicing and cash management functions
- Exposure to SBL (securities lending and borrowing) activity
- Ability to support efficiency and process improvement initiatives
