About the Opportunity

The Senior Planner will be responsible for:

✅ Project Scheduling: Developing and maintaining detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring all project milestones and deadlines are met

✅ Resource Management: Allocating resources effectively and efficiently to meet project demands and timelines

✅ Progress Monitoring: Tracking project progress, identifying potential delays, and implementing corrective actions to keep the project on schedule

✅ Reporting: Preparing and presenting regular progress reports to project stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and potential risks

✅ Compliance: Ensuring all project activities comply with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant regulations and standards

✅ Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating risks associated with project schedules and resource allocation.

Collaboration: Working closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure seamless project execution

✅ Documentation: Maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, progress reports, and compliance records

☑️ Project Management: Proven experience in managing large-scale construction and civil infrastructure projects

☑️ Primavera P6 Proficiency: Advanced knowledge and experience with Primavera P6 for project scheduling and management

☑️ NEC Awareness: Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and its application in construction projects

☑️ Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills to identify and address project issues

☑️ Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels

☑️ Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in project schedules and reports

☑️ Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and foster positive working relationships

☑️ Travel Flexibility: Willingness and ability to travel to client sites across the UK as needed

☑️ Degree qualified and holding certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar
