As an Assistant Surveyor, you will be at the heart of delivering accurate, high-quality data that underpins major engineering schemes for clients like National Highways, The Environment Agency, and Local Authorities.
You will work on a variety of projects in sectors such as Airports, Highways, Railways, Environmental, and Industrial Development, using cutting-edge technology including Laser Scanning, Drone Surveys, and Underground Utility Mapping. From day one, you will receive structured on-the-job training, and we’ll support your growth with opportunities for funded studies toward recognised qualifications.

- Education: Minimum GCSE grade A–C / 4–9 in Mathematics and English.
- Mindset: A strong desire to learn and develop your career in a hands-on, outdoor setting.
- Skills: Good personal management and timekeeping abilities.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work across diverse environments, including Highways, Rail, Environmental, Energy, and Property sectors.
- Mobility: A full UK driving licence and readiness to travel to site locations (including time away from the regional office).
- Technical Curiosity: Enthusiasm to learn industry-standard survey equipment and processing software.
- Outdoor Focus: A genuine interest in working in a site-based environment.
