Our team delivers some of the most challenging and transformative projects across sectors—airports, advanced technology facilities, residential refurbishments, rail, and energy—giving you the chance to make a real impact on the built environment locally and globally.

As an Associate Director, you won’t just manage projects—you’ll set the standard for excellence. Your technical expertise and leadership will drive the delivery of high-quality, innovative solutions that meet the most demanding client expectations. You’ll inspire and mentor talented engineers, fostering collaboration and growth within a multi-disciplinary environment.

Your ability to integrate disciplines and champion digital delivery will keep Jacobs at the forefront of modern engineering. With your commercial insight, you’ll ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, safeguarding both client confidence and business success.

Your global perspective—especially knowledge of US codes and experience with international projects—will strengthen our capability to deliver world-class solutions. And your commitment to sustainability and safety will ensure every design reflects Jacobs’ responsibility to people and the planet.

Here's what you'll need
  • Chartered Engineer (IStructE, ICE, or equivalent)
  • Proven expertise in structural design from concept to completion
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills
  • Ability to engage clients and present innovative solutions
  • Experience with structural analysis software (ETABS) and digital delivery
  • Knowledge of multi-disciplinary design processes and sustainable design principles
  • Commercial acumen to drive project success
