As a Carbon Consultant, you’ll help organisations understand climate change regulation and take practical steps on their decarbonisation journey. You’ll develop expertise in carbon compliance frameworks such as the UK Emissions Trading Scheme and Climate Change Agreements, while working on a diverse mix of high‑profile projects.
This early‑career role offers space to grow—technically and professionally—with opportunities to contribute to innovative digital solutions, support project delivery and build client‑facing skills. As you progress, you’ll also gain exposure to project management and business development activities.
What You’ll Be Doing
- A degree in Geography, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering or a related subject.
- Around 2+ years’ experience in an environmental or sustainability role, ideally with consultancy or regulatory exposure.
- Foundational knowledge of carbon compliance mechanisms (UK/EU ETS, CCA) and enthusiasm to deepen expertise.
- Strong data‑handling and analysis skills, particularly with emissions, energy or production datasets.
- Clear written communication skills, including experience drafting technical notes or regulatory submissions.
