Are you ready to lead quality assurance efforts on transformative digital projects? At Jacobs, we are seeking a Test Manager to join our Digital & Data team in Bristol. This is your opportunity to oversee the delivery of high-quality digital solutions across sectors such as water, transportation, defence, and government, ensuring the reliability and performance of critical systems that drive impactful change.
As a Test Manager, you will take ownership of testing strategies, lead multidisciplinary teams, and ensure robust quality assurance processes are in place. You’ll collaborate with developers, product specialists, and stakeholders to deliver seamless digital solutions while mentoring QA engineers and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and frameworks.
- Lead and manage testing activities across functional, non-functional, and automated testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define acceptance criteria and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Oversee defect management, quality metrics reporting, and release readiness assessments.
- Extensive experience in test management within agile digital delivery environments.
- Strong knowledge of automation frameworks like Cypress, Selenium, or Cucumber.
- Expertisein CI/CD tools, functional and non-functional testing techniques, and defect tracking systems.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor teams and foster collaboration.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.

This role is subject to UK Security Vetting at SC (security check) level. Applicants must be willing to undergo the appropriate security clearance process if not already cleared. If you’re successful in your application, we’ll ask you to undergo the relevant vetting process to achieve SC/DV clearance. You can find out more about vetting here.
Any offer of employment will be conditional upon satisfactory completion of the relevant clearance process.
This is a full time, permanent, hybrid (2-3 days/week) role based in Bristol, with occasional business travel across the UK.
