We’re looking for a skilled NEC4 ECC Project Managers to join our team and play a central role in delivering complex infrastructure projects — bringing expertise, collaboration, and leadership to every stage of the project lifecycle.
You’ll be a trusted advisor to our clients, ensuring projects are delivered compliantly, efficiently, and with a strong focus on value and outcomes. Your ability to balance risk, programme, and commercial performance will be key — but equally important is your collaborative approach, helping multidisciplinary teams work together to deliver smarter, more sustainable solutions.
Acting as the NEC4 ECC Project Manager, you’ll make clear, fair, and impartial contract decisions while ensuring projects are delivered compliantly and efficiently. You’ll manage early warnings, compensation events, programme acceptance, and instructions, maintaining momentum across the project lifecycle.
Working at the heart of delivery, you’ll lead coordination between contractors, designers, planners, and commercial teams, reviewing programmes in detail — including logic, float, and critical path — to ensure robust and achievable plans. You’ll take a proactive approach to risk management, facilitating risk reduction meetings and supporting the development of Scope / Works Information.
Alongside this, you’ll oversee commercial performance to ensure value for money, build strong client relationships, and lead key project meetings with confidence. You’ll also play a key role in driving innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement, while supporting or acting as NEC4 ECC Project Manager where required.
NEC3/4 ECC Project Manager Accreditation
Proven recent experience administering NEC3/4 ECC contracts
Proficiency in tools such as MS Project or Primavera
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Degree in Engineering or similar qualifications
APM qualification or chartership (or working towards)
Desirable:
Experience working with the Environment Agency, regulated water companies, or local authorities
Background in flood alleviation or environmental schemes
*Please note - this is a hybrid 2 days/ week office based role and travelling to various client site / offices will be required as part of that hybrid policy.
