The Cards platform helps customers access and utilise flexible credit responsibly. Our goal is to make it easy for customers to choose the right credit product and features for their needs. The credit card platform supports customers end-to-end lifecycle for their card, from research and eligibility right through to payments and retention.
The credit landscape is evolving quickly, and we need to be present in the channels customers prefer. We’re creating straightforward journeys that give customers clarity on eligibility and decisions, powered by data and strong underwriting. We’re investing to make it effortless for customers to get the right credit product and features for their situation and lifestyle. We also know that customers will change over time so we’re making sure that our products grow with our customers and are straightforward to use every day.

We have an exciting role for a Product Owner to join our Acquisitions Lab, taking accountability for how we bring this vision to life.
As a Product Owner, you’ll support the delivery of these journeys by working closely with Senior Product Owners, Business teams and cross-functional teams. You’ll help turn ideas into reality, ensuring features meet customer needs and business goals. You’ll be defining and owning the backlog for one of our feature teams, that focuses on helping customers understand their credit eligibility.
Role responsibilities

- Assist in ensuring governance and compliance requirements are met for your features.
- Take ownership of smaller initiatives or components within larger journeys that support areas such as pricing, products, eligibility and application.
What you’ll need:
- Experience as a Product Owner/Manager working on consumer facing products which put the customer first, if these are in consumer credit or finance products then even better
- Care about the ‘why’ above all else and are prepared to cut through the noise to get there, with a curiosity, resilience and a willingness to explore new and existing technologies
- Data centric approach – ability to work with data teams to understand the research and numbers
- Understanding of agile principles and how to apply those to deliver value faster for our customers as well as strong communication and collaboration skills to work with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to turn ideas into clear, actionable tasks for delivery teams
- Commercially minded, balancing a compelling user benefit with commercial needs
