What we’re looking for?
Demonstrable experience within User Experience design.
Strong experience as a UX and visual designer (or possibly from an interactive design background)
Full ownership of the Interaction Design project
Excellent prototyping and layout skills which they can articulate clearly to internal customers and development teams
Comfortable using existing design systems, proactively recommending new ways to improve and extend them to benefit both the project and other designers
Ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative research, and how this informs the interaction design process. We have dedicated user research teams supporting designers on real data, providing a great wealth of customer insights.
Familiarity working in a complex landscape
A collaborative mindset to work closely and quickly with a multi-disciplinary team
Strong ability to see designs through to delivery – communicating with developers and stakeholders to ensure designs meet specifications and can be used by a broad range of users of all backgrounds, ages and abilities.
Strong advocacy of customer inclusivity and accessibility
Ability to connect design decisions to wider business goals, demonstrating how great design drives clarity, efficiency, user satisfaction and commercial outcomes.
And any experience of these would be great
Shaping complex industries such as financial services or automotive, where intuition, regulation and user needs intersect.
Crafting elegant structures through information architecture, task flows and interaction patterns that simplify complexity for users.
Contributing to design systems and helping create scalable, reusable patterns that elevate design maturity.
Facilitating workshops that bring teams together, spark ideas and align people around clear outcomes.
Mentoring others and helping uplift the wider design community through coaching, guidance and craft.
