About this Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for someone to challenge and stretch themselves within Central Finance, operating at the heart of the Group and supporting senior colleagues through analysis, insight and control. You’ll be part of the Capital Reporting and Advisory team, helping to produce regulatory capital and leverage reporting for the Group’s banking entities, and contributing to key metrics used by senior leaders to make informed decisions and monitor regulatory compliance.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic individual who is driven, dedicated to successful delivery and will thrive in a fast‑paced and highly visible role, with a genuine desire to make a difference. You’ll enjoy working with data, producing financial reporting with a strong eye for detail, while gaining valuable exposure to regulatory capital and leverage reporting and building relationships across Central and Divisional Finance.

Why Lloyds Banking Group

We own the production of regulatory capital and leverage reporting, so your day might include...

  • Updating calculations and ensuring correct data captured.

  • Liaising with colleagues across the group to resolve any issues you have identified.

  • Preparing and share analysis for review by senior manager and other stakeholders.

  • Investigating queries following senior stakeholder review.

  • Updating regulatory reporting templates for submission and external disclosures for publication.

You’ll also be involved in:

  • Producing regulatory capital and leverage metrics for LBG’s banking entities.

  • Producing monthly and quarterly regulatory capital reporting and related external disclosures.

  • Developing relationships with key contacts across Finance and Risk.

  • Collaborating across the team on activities and initiatives to develop our team culture.

What you’ll need:

  • The ability to run detailed processes in a controlled and timely manner.

  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel and financial information

  • A self-starter attitude and comfortable dealing with varied stakeholders.

  • Intellectual curiosity and analytical ability.

  • Ability to form positive relationships with team mates and people across the Group.

  • Positive behaviours in line with the Group’s values with desire and contribution to help make Central Finance a great place to work.
