JOB TITLE: OEM Partnerships – Partnership Development Manager

LOCATION: Watford, North London

Salary: £59,850 - £66,500

HOURS: Full time

WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid - you'll be based at both LBG offices and partner offices.

About this opportunity

This is a rare chance to shape a major new automotive partnership from day one. You’ll help us build a long‑term, trusted relationship with a global OEM brand, playing a central role in how we bring innovative finance, mobility and customer experiences to the market.

You’ll join our Transport division at an exciting moment of growth, working with colleagues across Product, Commercial, Digital, Risk and Brand to deliver a partnership that benefits customers, dealer networks and the wider Group. It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys influencing senior stakeholders, spotting commercial opportunities, and turning them into clear delivery plans.

Day‑to‑day, you’ll develop deep relationships with our OEM and dealer partners, using market and customer insight to create joint growth strategies. You’ll shape digital journeys, support key projects, and help us adopt new technology to deliver better outcomes. You’ll also lead regular reviews that assess performance, experience and satisfaction – ensuring we maintain a high‑quality, compliant partnership that delivers for customers and the business.

Essential Skills

  • 5+ years’ relationship management experience working with OEMs, dealer networks, mobility providers, or automotive finance organisations.

  • 3+ years’ commercial or product experience in automotive, mobility, retail finance or leasing, with the ability to interpret market/competitor insight and shape propositions.

  • Strong commercial and pricing understanding, including experience balancing volume, margin and customer outcomes to support business plan delivery.

  • Analytical capability, using data and insight (e.g., partner performance, pricing, customer behaviours) to support informed decisions.

  • Knowledge of conduct, credit and regulatory requirements, with experience managing risks in a customer‑focused environment.

Desirable Skills

  • Project management experience, especially onboarding or scaling new partnerships.

  • Understanding of digital journeys, customer experience design, or integration with third‑party platforms.

  • Knowledge of UK dealer network operations and how they partner with OEMs.

  • Awareness of used car ecosystems, EVs and sustainability trends.

We know that great talent comes from many backgrounds. Whilst this advert references specific years of experience, we recognise that skills are developed in many ways, so if you have relevant, transferable experience, we encourage you to apply.
