HOURS: Full time
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office hubs.
What you’ll be doing
This is your opportunity to shape how lending products support Private Banking customers — improving outcomes, driving growth, and delivering meaningful change across a high‑value portfolio.
You’ll join the Private Banking Propositions team within UKPB Growth, where the focus is on creating and enhancing product solutions that genuinely meet customer needs. In this role, you’ll take the lead on lending products distributed through Private Banking, from shaping strategy and identifying opportunities through to delivery, governance and performance management. You’ll work closely with product manufacturers across the Group to align priorities, influence roadmaps, and ensure propositions deliver fair value and strong customer outcomes.
Alongside lending, you’ll also contribute to the management of wider distributed products such as banking and savings, and support the ongoing development of owned Private Banking propositions including estates and trusts. You’ll use customer insight, behavioural data, complaints and market analysis to understand what’s working, where improvements are needed, and how we can continuously enhance the end‑to‑end customer journey.
As a Product Manager, you’ll drive small‑ to medium‑scale change initiatives end‑to‑end — writing clear business requirements, identifying process improvements, supporting testing, and partnering with delivery teams to land change successfully. You’ll also help develop and execute marketing or growth plans for lending and other UKPB products, working collaboratively with commercial, data, digital and distribution teams. Where required, you’ll coach or line manage Assistant Product Managers or Analysts, providing clear objectives and development support.
