Your Impact
- Turn strategy into action: translate ambition into clear initiatives, KPIs, and delivery routines that drive focus and accountability.
- Unlock value: identify and deliver key performance levers (from working-capital and procurement efficiency to cost productivity and growth acceleration) to strengthen EBITDA, cash flow, and capability.
- Redesign how organisations work: implement new operating models, governance, and performance systems that embed sustained impact.
- Lead transformation delivery: set up and run Transformation Offices, drive execution discipline and cadence, and deliver measurable financial, operational, and organisational outcomes.
- Mobilise people and leadership: engage senior sponsors, coach teams, and build ownership and resilience so change endures.
- Collaborate across McKinsey: partner with strategists, functional, and digital experts to connect strategy with execution and deliver lasting results.
- Base: London, with hybrid flexibility and travel as required.
- Engagement rhythm: typically Mon–Thu on-site or hybrid; Fri more focused on firm building and development.
- Team model: small, high-trust teams (3–5 colleagues) integrated with McKinsey partners and experts.
- A distinct practice within McKinsey focused on transformation execution and value creation - turning strategy into results.
- We stay through delivery partnering with clients until impact is achieved and embedded.

Your qualifications and skills
- Bachelor’s degree (business, engineering, or similar) with a strong academic record.
- 2+ years’ experience delivering transformation programs (e.g., operational excellence, digital or broader value-creation initiatives driving measurable business and EBITDA improvement)
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and deliver in complex, fast-paced environments.
- Structured problem-solving, strong analytical and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; ability to turn analysis into action.
- Entrepreneurial, resilient, and proactive; thrives under pressure and ambiguity.
- Flexibility to travel.
- Fluent English (native or equivalent).
- Functional experience in one or more value-creation areas (e.g., operating-model redesign, working-capital optimisation, procurement excellence, productivity improvement, or broader P&L transformation.)
- Exposure to AI- or tech-enabled transformation, benefits tracking, or performance-management systems.
- Lean/Six Sigma or PMP/Agile certifications.
- Sector experience in one or more industries such as: Financial Services, Private Equity, Industrials, Consumer, FMCG, Energy, Life Sciences, or Transport & Logistics.
