YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Educational Background: A strong academic record, including a recognized tax or accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ATT, CTA), or a recognized US tax qualification (EA, CPA).
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in US Federal and State personal taxes. This includes experience managing the personal tax affairs of US executives (domestic or mobile) and related social tax/payroll withholding issues. Background can be from practice or in-house at a large multinational corporation. Experience with high-net-worth individuals is highly preferred.
- Expertise: Solid experience in payroll withholding matters for US resident Partners, including State taxes in both resident and non-resident States. Detailed understanding of individual tax taxes in the US and working knowledge of US tax return information.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to design and implement practical tax operational processes.
- Collaboration & Independence: Proven ability to collaborate effectively with global colleagues at all levels, while remaining highly self-directed and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Global Perspective: Experience supporting or managing global projects involving multiple cross-border initiatives across jurisdictions and with stakeholders.
- Communication Skills: Outstanding oral and written communication skills, with the ability to distill and explain complex technical issues to non-tax stakeholders.
