You will work alongside the mobility coordinator to facilitate the management of specialist visas for our colleagues working short term in the UK and Ireland offices.

YOUR IMPACT

You will have end to end responsibility for the tracking and management of the immigration administration processes for specialist/short term visas for the UK and Ireland, working with internal and external legal counsel to ensure immigration and eligibility compliance.
You will act as a point of contact for colleagues on immigration policies, guidelines and processes and cover essential mobility processes in the absence of the mobility coordinator. You will develop expertise and apply knowledge of immigration eligibility including risk, policies and processes.
You will develop clear, compliant immigration tracking and administration procedures to support the different types of visa categories within the UK and Ireland and advise colleagues from other offices on visa requirements when entering UK and/or Ireland. You will keep updated on local regulations and coordinating with internal/external counsel on any changes and coordinate with firm expert teams to solve eligibility risks.
Additionally, you will coordinate support and be the main point of contact with external legal counsel to communicate and interpret the firm’s mobility policies and processes.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Understanding and experience of visa requirements for the UK (understanding of the visa requirements for Ireland would be desirable)
  • Experience of immigration processes
  • Comfortable dealing with high volumes/data management experience
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills including the ability to interact with a diverse range of people in a fair and consistent manner
  • Outstanding organizational skills, process excellence and attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to manage ambiguity with an open mind and a positive attitude
  • Comfortable giving clear and consistent advice even when challenged
