EMEA Infrastructure Compliance Officer

Vice President
Glasgow

The Legal and Compliance Division (LCD) comprises Legal, Regulatory Relations, and Non‑Financial Risk (NFR). LCD protects the firm’s reputation by developing and maintaining policies and procedures to meet global regulatory obligations, while maintaining constructive relationships with regulators and policymakers.

The NFR organisation (second line of defence) brings together Compliance, Global Financial Crimes, and Operational Risk to provide a unified view of non‑financial risks. These include risks arising from processes, data, controls, technology, infrastructure, or actions by employees or external parties. NFR partners with the first line to advise, train, monitor, and escalate material risks.

Team profile and role overview

Infrastructure Compliance, part of Global Shared Services Compliance, provides second‑line oversight of infrastructure‑related regulatory processes supporting EMEA businesses. The team also covers infrastructure divisions more broadly. Core areas include Client Assets, Transaction and Regulatory Reporting, Disclosure of Interest, Client Reporting, Client Onboarding, Margin, and Clearance & Settlement.

This Vice President role sits within the EMEA Infrastructure Compliance team and reports to the Head of EMEA Infrastructure Compliance. The primary focus is providing regulatory oversight and challenge related to Client Assets, across all components of the second‑line programme.
