The Opportunity:
As an Enterprise Sales Executive for UK Public Sector, Local Government, and Higher Education, you'll play a pivotal role in identifying and securing new opportunities, building trusted relationships with public sector and education leaders, and driving adoption of Oracle’s service portfolio. You’ll be a proactive hunter, independently creating pipeline and offering consultative solutions that address critical organisational challenges and deliver measurable public value.
What You’ll Bring:
- Proven Track Record: Minimum 5 years of success in B2B or public sector sales, consulting, or account management—ideally within cloud, managed services, or IT professional services targeting government, local authorities, or higher education institutions in the UK.
- Public Sector Acumen: Deep understanding of procurement frameworks (e.g., G-Cloud, CCS), public sector buying cycles, compliance requirements, and digital transformation priorities within government or education.
- Hunter Mentality: Self-driven, results-oriented, and skilled at pipeline generation and strategic territory management within complex stakeholder environments.
- Strong Communication Skills: Confidence to deliver compelling proposals and presentations to diverse stakeholders, from non-technical leaders to IT specialists.
- Consultative Approach: Demonstrated ability to understand policy, operational, and educational challenges, deliver tailored solutions, and manage long, multi-faceted sales processes.
- Team-Oriented & Autonomous: Skilled at working independently and within cross-functional teams to maximise client value.
- Flexibility & Adaptability: Willingness and readiness to travel across the UK for stakeholder meetings, events, and consultations as needed.
