About the role:

The I&S Corporate Finance team are sector specialists advising privately owned, PE backed and large corporate clients across the country. We advise on an exciting variety of transactions on the sell-side and buy-side, with a typical deal size of c.£50-300m+.

As an I&S CF team, we have a leading reputation for executing high-profile mid-market transactions, advising on some fantastic deals in-region and as well as nationally, giving fantastic exposure to a variety of deal structures and clients across the sector.

We’re looking for a confident, collaborative Manager who brings 2-4 years of deal experience, a proactive mindset, and commercial acumen. Knowledge and understanding of the applicable regional dynamics (economic, political, industry-focussed) is preferred but not essential. In return, you’ll work within a motivated team of dealmakers, helping clients navigate exciting, complex and fast-paced transactions.

What your days will look like:

As a Manager, you’ll bring technical expertise, commercial insight, and leadership, to help clients through the complexities of dealmaking.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Supporting live transactions end-to-end, from origination and marketing through to execution and completion, with ownership over key workstreams;

  • Building trusted client relationships and delivering high quality work, across pitch documents, marketing materials, financial analysis and other transaction deliverables;

  • Getting involved in our origination efforts; conducting detailed market, financial and commercial research, supporting with proposals, and meeting with potential targets;

  • Supporting and coaching junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

This role is for you if:

  • You have Corporate Finance experience, with end-to-end deal experience;

  • You have strong financial analysis and modelling skills, as well as commercial acumen and the ability to think strategically;

  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to build trusted relationships with clients;

  • You have a pro-active mindset, pay strong attention to detail, and can manage multiple workstreams and deadlines in a fast-paced deal environment;

  • You can work effectively within multi-disciplinary teams, and work collaboratively with those around you.

  • Must possess an ACA/CA/ACCA qualification (or international equivalent) or have equivalent work experience. This includes international candidates who qualify through experience in their home country
