About the role:
Reporting directly to the Tech Catalyst Finance Director, the Finance Lead for Firmwide Tech will act as the primary commercial specialist for Tech Catalyst within the Business Partnering team. This senior role provides strategic financial and commercial leadership across pricing, technology charging models, investment governance, business performance, and forward‑looking commercial insight.
What your days will look like:
Shape and drive the commercial strategy for tech across the firm.
Lead on supporting technology pricing, cost recovery and cross‑charging models across Lines of Service.
Provide commercial challenge, insight, and recommendations to senior leadership, including the COO, CFAO and Finance Director.
Ensure consistent, robust commercial practices that enable the firm to recover investment, protect margin, and value its digital assets appropriately.
Strengthen the firm’s readiness for the evolving technology commercial model and support its embedding into systems.
Act as a key interface between Tech Catalyst, Business Partnering, and the firmwide Commercial Excellence team.
This role is for you if:
Professionally qualified accountant CIMA/ACA/ACCA (or an international equivalent)
Strong commercial acumen and ability to understand complex business models.
Deep experience in commercial finance, business partnering or strategy.
Strong analytical skills.
Ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders.
Experience leading commercial or finance process change.
Experience with technology pricing models.
Understanding of technology cost structures and cross‑charging.
