About the role:
This role offers the opportunity to work in a successful Business Partnering team providing specialist financial advice to the Business and
Supply Chain Operations (BSCO) BU:
Serve as a strategic trusted advisor to senior business leaders, providing executive-level insights and challenging assumptions,
Lead complex financial analysis and oversight on large and complex projects, working with client teams to ensure robust revenue recognition and financial metric governance across the portfolio,
Develop and deliver comprehensive financial planning and forecasting to support business decision-making,
Lead and develop the junior members, fostering excellence, continuous improvement, and career progression

What your days will look like:
The Finance Leader is the business's first port of call for business decision support. Working closely with business unit leadership, engagement leaders and reporting directly to the Director of Finance, this is a collaborative and engaging role, and a vital function to the business. The individual in this role will provide commercially focused insight and analysis to our business leaders to drive the firm’s financial strategy, participating in leadership meetings to provide support, and where appropriate, challenge the business from a financial perspective. This role will work closely with the Business Partnering Lead specialists for complex issues concerning commercial, strategy, reporting, or financial control matters, and communicate with the firm’s Centres of Excellence regularly for escalated matters. The right individual will draw upon technical knowledge and experience, commercial insights, and interpersonal skills to drive, influence, and challenge the business to achieve short and long term financial objectives.
Further responsibilities of the role include:
Drive and challenge business performance through analysis, presentation and commentary of financial information to senior decision makers
Play an influential role on steering groups supporting business delivery and strategic alignment
Proactively highlight risks and opportunities to financial performance and develop actions to mitigate, correct or exploit as appropriate with senior decision makers
Discuss forward looking and actionable financial insights that sustain market share, support growth and maximise profitability
Support the business area in robust short/medium term forecasting as well as ensuring business engagement and ownership of the annual planning cycle
Proactively identify opportunities (from either existing or new analysis) for improved performance and develop potential solutions with senior decision makers to drive financial performance
The role is for you if:
A relevant finance qualification such as CA, ACA, CIMA or ACCA
Commercially minded with a deep business understanding
Able to demonstrate application of accounting standards, including IFRS 15
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good attention to detail
Action orientated and a self-starter
Focused on continuous improvement and developing their team
