Role Overview:

The Junior Business Analyst will work with both clients and internal technical teams to understand business objectives and translate them into clear functional processes and requirements. In this role, you will own specific functional areas, help shape practical digital and AI-enabled solutions, and act as a bridge between business stakeholders and delivery teams. You will be involved end-to-end, from requirements gathering and documentation through to defining acceptance criteria and supporting testing and UAT. Within six months, you are expected to independently manage an assigned functional area, ensuring high-quality documentation and communication.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with client stakeholders to understand their objectives, challenges and high-level requirements.
  • Analyse and translate business needs into structured functional processes, user stories and clear documentation.
  • Own specific functional workstreams or areas, ensuring consistency, clarity and alignment with business goals.
  • Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, clarifying requirements and resolving ambiguities.
  • Define acceptance criteria and support functional testing, including user acceptance testing and defect follow-up.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of requirements, decisions, risks, actions and changes throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Advise clients on practical solution options and support workshops or discussions to identify the best way forward.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting enhancements to processes, documentation standards and tooling (e.g. Jira, Xray, TestRail).

About the Candidate:

  • 1–2 years of experience in business analysis, digital transformation, technology consulting or a similar environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to interact directly with client stakeholders.
  • Able to listen actively, ask effective questions and convert complex discussions into structured requirements and documentation.
  • Displays a consulting mindset: curious, pragmatic and comfortable constructively challenging assumptions.
  • Highly organised, with strong ownership, attention to detail and the ability to manage an assigned functional area.
  • Interested in customer experience, technology and the practical application of AI in consulting and delivery.
  • Understands functional testing concepts, test scenarios and defect tracking; familiarity with tools such as Jira, Xray or TestRail is a plus.
