Job Title: Project Data Governance Lead
Working Pattern: Full-time
Working location: Bristol or Derby / Hybrid 37hrs pw
As the Project Data Governance Lead, you will be responsible for driving the data governance framework within a large-scale program at Rolls-Royce. You will serve as the primary bridge between the project deliverables and priorities and the enterprise data governance team. You will create and maintain processes for the project that align with the global management process and data strategy. While working with project data owners and stewards to ensure that the data risks and issues are being managed.

What you will be doing
With this attractive opportunity you will get a chance to:
Driving Data Governance: You will take the lead in implementing and enforcing data governance standards within the program, ensuring the data processes are followed.
Aligning with Stakeholders: You will maintain communication with key stakeholders to ensure the program’s scope and priorities are aligned with the global data strategy.
Building & Maintaining Processes: You will design, document, and manage robust data processes for the project that align with global management standards and the overarching corporate data strategy.
Managing Risks & Issues: You will act as the primary collaborator for data owners and stewards, ensuring that all data-related risks and issues are proactively identified, tracked, and resolved.
Executing to Completion: You will apply strong project management skills to drive governance initiatives from initial concept to full completion, meeting all program deliverables on time.
Bridging Technical & Business Needs: Using your analytical skills, you will translate complex data requirements into clear, actionable priorities.

Basic Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in STEM or business with extensive working with data
To be eligible for consideration, you must be a UK National
Preferred Requirements:
Experience in a compliance/regulated industry
Experience with driving data governance
Project management skills, driving to projects to completion
Good analytical skills
Experience writing data processes
To work for the Rolls-Royce Defence business an individual has to hold a Security Check clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you do not currently already have this in place. Due to the nature of work the business conducts and the protection of certain assets we can only progress applications from individuals who are a UK national or, in MoD approved cases, a dual national.
